Hi.

What software you use to convert .avi (or other movie format) to .gif? Can't find any good freeware.

You enabled comments because the other day I worte the thing on the bottom of page didn't work?

Joking.

I actually just pause it and take a screenshot. The problem is that it uses a fancy overlay trick and so all you get is a very dark purple where the movie should be. You can get around this, however, by first opening some other movie and pausing it. Then any other movies you play while the first one is paused will screenshot normally.

Good trick, but I was thinking about software to convert clip of movie to animated GIF, like in this file.

Great blog. Greetings from Poland.

I didn't make that one. I think gif construction set professional does it, I know there's another one that does but it's crap, very bad interface. I can't remember the name...

Yep, tried about six crappy shareware programs tonight and all of them failed. Such great clip going to waste. Thanks for your answers.

Hi.

Through an unrelated Google search I found your blog entry on your other site where you posted a ton of random images, which was great on its own. But then I was led here, and I just thought I should let you know that this is the best weblog I've ever seen.
